Driving in Grenada is on the left and a local permit can be obtained from most car rental firms at a cost of EC$30.

If you really want to get first-hand experience of the local dialect and culture, public transportation (in the form of minibuses) is a cultural extravaganza on wheels.

There is also a daily ferry that runs between Grenada and its sister isles: Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
